Swinnow Primary School is a special place – we really care about our children and families; we work closely with the children’s centre and our onsite alternative provision to provide the best support possible. We have high expectations and focus on building strong foundations in key skills and knowledge. We ensure our children actively participate in exciting learning which broadens their experiences and leads to high achievement.

We are looking for an Early Years or Y1 teacher to join our dedicated team.

Are you a passionate and skilled teacher who believes that effective pedagogy creates the strongest foundations for future success?

The successful candidate will:

• Have a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and/or Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Use evidence-informed, effective pedagogy to secure excellent outcomes for all pupils.
• Create engaging learning experiences that develop children's communication, language, literacy and mathematical understanding.
• Build strong relationships with children and families, recognising that secure foundations are key to future achievement.
• Be committed to high expectations, inclusion and ensuring every child thrives.
