Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is the name of a funding allocation given to schools, by the Government, to support specific pupils who may be at risk of underachievement.
The IMPACT (how well the funding is spent) of the use of this funding is monitored by staff through school based systems and by the results of national testing such as Early Years assessments, Phonic reading check and KS1 / 2 SATs. Additionally Governors monitor the quality of the provision through school reports, attendance at school events and meeting with pupils on a regular basis.
