Mummification! - 29/09/20
Today, we delved into the world of Ancient Egyptian mummification! We learnt all about how and why the Egyptians mummified both people and special animals.
The children had so much fun in mummifying a tomato - scooping out the insides, cleaning and purifying the body then using salt to stuff the tomato. Now, we have to leave the tomatoes for 40 days, just like the Egyptians.
